WARNING
• Sand and salty water as well as pool water, which contains chlorine and other chemicals,
will damage the wheelchair and its internal components irredeemably. To try and avoid
this damage once exposed to these conditions, lubricate with oil and vaseline (spray)
these components and clean the wheelchair as best as possible.
• It is advised to check periodically the fixation condition of every screw and nut as with
daily use these can get loose.
WARRANTY AND AFTER-SALES SERVICES
Terms:
Only original Forta wheelchairs acquired at authorised dealers will be covered against
components defects or manufacturing damages.
• In case of finding any anomaly, the dealer should notify Forta immediately.
• Forta will not be responsible of damages caused by wrong usage of the wheelchair,
negligence or not following the instructions described in this manual.
• During the warranty period, any piece that is damaged because of a manufacturing or
materials problem will be repaired or replaced free by Forta.
• Any wrong modification or regulation of the wheelchair or the use of pieces or options not
designed for these models of wheelchairs will make the warranty obsolete.
WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
CONSEQUENCES OF LOGISTIC PROBLEMS, SPECIFICALLY THOSE CAUSED BY
TRANSPORTATION. LOSSES OF PROFIT, EXPENSES, ETC.
Forta will NOT be responsible in the following cases:
• Natural wear of the wheelchair or wrong use of it.
• Assembly damages when the assembly is not carried out by Forta’s authorised personal.
• Negligent use or maintenance or usage of not-adapted pieces.
• Repairs or modification carried out in non-official workshops.
• Forta is not responsible of the damages caused to the user or a third person when
modifications have been made to the wheelchair.
• This warranty will not cover modifications not using FORTA’s options or accessories.
