MAINTENANCE
A preventive maintenance done regularly allows to preserve the wheelchair in optimal condi-
tions and it helps to detect and sort out in time small problems that could evolve into important
damages. With this, not only do you improve the daily security of the wheelchair but also, in
the long term, you save time and money.
Note: In case of breakdown you must go to a specialized workshop.
General recommendations for the maintenance of a wheelchair
• Keeping the wheelchair clean and in perfect condition will improve its performance and
presence.
• It is advised to use maintenance and cleaning products for bicycles such as lubricant oils,
spray bottles, etc.
• If the wheelchair has been exposed to water (rain, shower, etc.) it is convenient to dry it
out using a cloth. You should spray a special oil for bicycles in a cloth and apply it over
joints and axles.
• To clean the fabric of the wheelchair use neutral soap at a maximum temperature of
30ºC. Do not iron or centrifuge.
• Check the nut of the crosses union. If it is loose, tighten up using fixing element.
