• Irregular terrains such as asphalt, gravel, grass, sand, mud or wooden parquet may be
complicated to cross with the wheelchair and could cause falls.
• When carrying out user transfers, brakes must always be activated to ensure higher
security.
• Do not hang anything on the backrest handles of the wheelchair, as there is a risk of
tipping it over.
• Brakes are designed to be used as stationary brakes, not dynamic ones. Forta will not be
responsible for any problems derived from the wrong use of these brakes.
• All detachable components must be assembled carefully.
• Always check that the wheelchair is completely unfolded before using it and specially
when crossing ramps, stairs, etc.
CAUTION
All wheelchairs contain or may contain plastic elements (wheels, forks, armrests, footrests...).
These elements, when inflamed, may produce toxic gases that have to be avoided.
We also recommend no to expose the wheelchair to high heat sources such as stoves as these
can inflame it or its components.
