COMPLETED TRIALS, TESTS AND HOMOLOGATIONS
With the publication of the European Directive 93/42 on Sanitary Products, FORTA is forced
to guarantee that their wheelchairs fulfill a series of essential requirements. In order to credit
the fulfillment of these requirements, some rules that specify the way of inspection and test
of products has been elaborated. Below, we mention tests and results obtained for FORTA’s
wheelchairs.

Fire reaction tests Fireproof fabric (UNE-1021-1:1993 y UNE

FORTA’s wheelchairs have the IBV Mark (www.ibv.org), excellence mark that endorses and
guarantees the positive influence of a product over: security, health, life’s quality and perfor-
mance of the user. It gives the product a unique nature.
