d) The spring scale should indicate 4.4 lbs. ±10% (2.0 kg. ±10%).
e) If the reading is off specification, loosen the 2 screws (Refer to Fig. A)
and re-position the plunger solfenoid. As the pressure will greatly change
with only a slight shift in position, re-position the solenoid in small
increments .
The pressure will increase by moving the solenoid in the direction away from
the capstan motor.
After obtaining optimum pressure, securely tighten the screws and make a
final re-check of the pressure.
