WARNING: Before switching on the machine be
sure that there is not any object on the workbench,
that the riving knife is correctly placed and that the
protective cap and that the blade is assembled, is
not damaged and works perfectly.
To start the saw, press the ON green button (Fig.
19).
To stop the saw, push the OFF red button.
The switch of this machine is a “minimum voltage“
switch and prevents the machine from starting in
case of recovery of the electrical energy after an
interruption. So, when a electrical energy interruption occurs, you must press the green button
to re-start the saw that has stopped.
The saw has a protective thermal cut-out which stops the saw in case of overload, in order to
avoid to burn the motor. It is located one the switch’s side.
When it starts, it sets off the switch and stops the saw. Then you must let the machine cool
down some minutes, then press the manual overload reset button and afterwards the green
button of the switch to start again the saw blade again. If it does not start, wait still some
minutes and try again.
If the machine does not start, disconnect it from the socket and check the electric cable and
the connections.
If the thermal cut-out often starts, it means you are pushing the blade too much or that you are
using poor quality or not sharpened saw blades.
This tool has a mechanical brake that stops the blade in less than 10 seconds since when you
push the button. Check the efficiency of the brake periodically, and if it does not work take the
machine to an after sales service.
