Why my Franklin Electric Water Pump won't start when the tank is full?
- YyoliverJul 28, 2025
If your Franklin Electric Water Pump doesn't start when the tank is full, it could be due to several reasons. The pump may not be connected to electrical power; ensure it is connected to a dedicated GFCI circuit. The circuit breaker might be off, or the fuse removed; turn on the circuit breaker or replace the fuse. Debris accumulation on the float can also cause this issue; clean the float. Check for any obstructions in the float movement path and remove them. In some cases, a defective switch or motor may be the cause, requiring pump replacement.
