Overview

The Franklin Home Power (FHP) system is a comprehensive energy storage solution designed for residential use, comprising aPower X and aGate X units along with other electrical components. This Quick Installation Guide specifically applies to the aPower X and aGate X products. The system is engineered to provide reliable home power, integrating solar, grid, and battery power management.

Function Description:

The FHP system manages and stores energy from various sources, including solar panels and the utility grid, to provide continuous power to a home. The aGate X acts as the central control unit, integrating solar input, grid connection, generator input (optional), and the aPower X battery units. It features smart circuit connections to manage specific loads and backup load terminals for critical appliances during grid outages. The aPower X units are the battery storage components, designed to store excess energy and discharge it when needed. The system supports both indoor and outdoor installations, with specific environmental and spacing requirements to ensure optimal performance and safety. Remote access and monitoring are enabled through a smartphone application, allowing homeowners and installers to view real-time energy data and manage system parameters.
