Overview

The Franklin Home Power (FHP) system, comprising aPower X and aGate X units, is a comprehensive energy storage solution designed for residential use. This Quick Installation Guide outlines the setup, technical specifications, and operational aspects of the system, ensuring reliable and efficient energy management.

Function Description

The Franklin Home Power system integrates solar power, grid electricity, and battery storage to optimize energy usage in a home. The aPower X units are the battery storage components, while the aGate X acts as the central control and switching device, managing the flow of power between the grid, solar inverter, aPower X units, and household loads. This intelligent system allows homeowners to store excess solar energy, use stored energy during peak hours or power outages, and reduce reliance on the grid. The system supports both floor-mounted and wall-mounted installations for aPower X, and wall-mounted or embedded installations for aGate X, offering flexibility in placement. The FHP system can be activated and monitored via a smartphone application, providing real-time data on energy flow and system status.
