7 Troubleshooting
The Superminor is designed for simple operation. However, if you do experience problems,
this section will help. The table lists possible problems and their solutions.

Solution
The Superminor does
not switch on.
The power cable is not
connected to the supply.
Connect the power cable to the
Superminor and the correct
power supply.
The fuse in the plug has blown.
Replace the fuse.
The power cable is damaged.
Replace the power cable that
connects to the Superminor.
If the problem remains, call
Freddy Products.
The suction hose CAM
lock is leaking.
The 51 mm CAM lock seal is
damaged or missing.
Replace the seal in the CAM
lock.
The vacuum side of the
Superminor does not
operate.
The suction hose is blocked.
Clear the blockage from the
hose, or replace the hose if it is
not possible to clear the
blockage.
The filter bag is blocked or full.
Empty and replace the filter bag.
If the problem remains, call
Freddy Products.
The vacuum motor is
running but there is no
suction.
The filter bag is blocked.
Clean or replace the filter bag.
There is little or no
suction.
The suction hose is blocked.
Clear the blockage from the
hose, or replace the hose if it is
not possible to clear the
blockage.
The suction hose is split.
Replace the hose.
The suction hose is not
connected.
Connect the hose and make sure
it is secure.
The basket seal is damaged.
Replace the basket seal.
The filter bag is not located
correctly.
Make sure the filter bag is fitted
so that the rim of the filter is
level with the seal in the
Superminor turret.
