Dispose of NiMH and alkaline batteries properly. Check with your local government for
disposal and recycling procedures.
Do not mix NiMH batteries and alkaline batteries in the unit. Replace all batteries of the
same chemistry at the same time. Do not mix new batteries with old batteries. Failure to
follow this precaution can lead to battery failure or leakage. Risk of explosion is possible if
batteries are replaced with an incorrect type.
