Other vehicles changing lane
The ability of Active BrakeAssist and the dis-
tancecontrol assistant to detect vehicles pull-
ing into your lane is limited. The distanceto
the vehicle in frontentering your lane may
then be too short.Active BrakeAssist and the
distancecontrol assistant may unexpectedly
issue warnings or brake your vehicle. The dis-
tancecontrol assistant may also accelerate
the vehicle unexpectedly.
The ability of Active BrakeAssist and the dis-
tancecontrol assistant to detect vehicles pull-
ing into your lane without maintaining asafe
distanceislimited. Only oncevehicles are
within the system's detection range will they
be detected. The distancecontrol assistant
may accelerateunexpectedly. Brakethe vehi-
cle. This will increase the distancetothe vehi-
cle in front.
Vehicles turning off
The ability of Active BrakeAssist and the dis-
tancecontrol assistant to detect vehicles turn-
ing off is limited. Active BrakeAssist and the
distancecontrol assistant may unexpectedly
issue warnings or brake your vehicle.
Overtaking
When you are overtaking, Active BrakeAssist
and the distancecontrol assistant may unex-
pectedly issue warnings or brake your vehicle
if you:
