If the Ù indicator lamp flashesorlights
up duringthe journey,thenthe temperature
of the transmission oilorthe coolant is too
high. The reason for thismay be thatthe
transmission oillevel is too high or too low.
If the transmission oiltemperatureisoften
high there is adangerofdamagetothe
transmission.
Onlycheck the oillevel when the automatic
transmission is at normal operating tempera-
ture.

Shift the automatic transmission to the neu-
tralposition.

Startthe engine and leaveitrunning at
idling speed.

Press buttons ; and = at the same time.
Press button ;.
The oillevel measurement starts. During oil
level measurement, display : shows the
codes oL 08oL 08 to oL 01oL 01 in succession.

Wait approximately 2minutes.
After adelay, display : automatically
shows acodefor the oillevel or afault
code.
