Remove the battery compartment cover

First, connect the positive terminal clamp of
the jump lead to the positive terminal of the
othervehicle's battery and then to the q
positive terminal of the starter battery.

First, connect the negative terminal clamp
of the jump lead to the negative terminal of
the othervehicle's battery and then to the
± negative terminal of the starter battery.

Assisting vehicle: run the engine at ahigh
speed.
X
Start the engine and leave it running at
idling speed.

First, disconnect the negative terminal
clamps of the jump lead from the negative
terminals.

Remove the positive terminal clamps of the
jump lead from the positive terminals.
