department.
Empty bag/ air in

Change container
and set or check for
air bubbles.
Door open alarm
Close pump door.
Ta rget volume
almost reached

Continue feeding
or end feeding.
Ta rget volume
reached alarm
End feeding.
Downstream
occlusion alarm
Check that pump
set / feeding tube is
clear after the
pump, at patient
side.
Upstream
occlusion alarm
Check that pump
set is clear between
the container and
the pump.
Set installation alarm
Check set position
above and below
pump mechanism
and insert it correctly.
Mute alarm (if necessary)
Detect the cause and proceed to the appropriate action
Release alarm Resume feeding
If alarm occurs:
Start Reminder
Proceed to next step
or switch pump off.
