Powercord includes a current interrupter device.
A test and reset button is provided on the plug case.
The device should be tested on a periodic basis by first
pressing the TEST button and then the RESET button.
Ifthe TEST button does not trip or if the RESET buttonwill
not stay engaged, discontinue use of the air conditioner
and contact a qualified service technician.

Use of extension cords
Because of potential safety hazards, we strongly discourage the use of an extension cord. However,
if you wish to use an extension cord, use a CSA certified/UL-listed3-wire (grounding) extension cord, rated 15A,
125V.
All wiring should be made in accordance with local electrical codes and regulations.
