You may also need to adjust the temperature settings on the control board. Remember that temperature setting restrictions may apply. Clean the air filter monthly, and allow the unit to run longer to adjust the room temperature. Seal any heat leaks between indoor and outdoor spaces and consider recharging the refrigerant if the indoor coil isn't cold or hot.

  If the outlet temperature of your Friedrich Air Conditioner is not consistently cooling or heating when heating with a heat pump, it may be because the outdoor temperature is too low. The E-heater will turn on shortly to provide heat. If the fan stops during cooling or heating, this is normal when the CONSTANT FAN is OFF. You can enable the CONSTANT FAN setting.
