Before Cleaning
Tip
Remove obstacles,
such as toys, shoes,
magazines etc. from
the floor where the
robot will be
cleaning.
Room preparations
Review the Important Safeguards on pages 2 and 3.
To maximize the cleaning potential, it is recommended that you:
• Remove objects like clothing, loose papers, pull cords for blinds or
curtains, electrical cords, toys and fragile objects from the floor surface.
• Move and secure all electrical cords, wires and cables out of the reach of
the robotic cleaner.
• Close exterior doors.
Robot Cleaning Modes
Cleaning Selector (A)
The robot has four
settings.
OFF for when the robot
is charging or not
in use.
Spot Clean (shown in
display (B) as "CL 1")
cleans a small area in a
spiral motion.
Use this mode to clean
a small dry spill or
small area.
The robot will spiral out-
ward to maximum of 6
ft., or until it encounters
an obstacle. It will then
travel back to the center
and stop.
Quick Clean (Display
"CL 2") cleans an aver-
age size room (up to
400 sq. ft., 37 m
2
) in
about 30 minutes,
making parallel passes.
If the robot encounters
an obstacle, it will
either contour it or turn
around and continue
cleaning.
