Establishing a Connection Manually
The following requirements must be met for this type of connection:
Requirements
• A wireless LAN device with the WPA or WPA2 encryption standard.
• Your wireless device must obtain its IP address automatically (DHCP).
Establishing a Connection
1. Start the wireless LAN program on your wireless device or computer, and start
searching for wireless LANs in your vicinity.
2. Select the wireless LAN called “FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 310” and enter
00000000 (8 zeroes) as the WPA/WPA2 key.
3. Open a web browser, enter
http://fritz.repeater in the address fi eld, and
follow the instructions provided by the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater Wizard.
The wizard guides you through all of the remaining steps of the confi guration.
User Interface
The FRITZ!WLANRepeater has a user interface. In the user interface you can
confi gure the FRITZ!WLANRepeater using a Wizard, enable functions and view
information about connections.
The user interface can be opened on every computer connected with the
FRITZ!WLANRepeater or your wireless access point:
1. Open a web browser.
2. Enter
http://fritz.repeater in the
address fi eld.
3. The user interface opens.
