If the safety circuit has shut down due to high discharge temperature, address the temperature issue as described in the “High Discharge Air Temperature” section of this troubleshooting guide, then press the manual reset button on the high discharge temperature switch and restart the compressor. Also, check for an overloaded motor and press the reset button on the motor starter if needed.
