1 Make sure that the machine is not operating,
and open the front cover.
2 Hold the lower part of the toner cartridge and
gently slide out the cartridge.
3 Hold the handle on the top of the cartridge,
and pull it out from the machine.
Important • Pull out the toner cartridge gently. Otherwise, toner may spill from the cartridge.
• If you have a used toner cartridge no longer needed, contact your local Fuji Xerox
representative for its disposal.
4 Take the new toner cartridge out of the box,
and shake the cartridge up and down and
left and right for five or six times.
5 Insert the toner cartridge in gently until it
stops.
Important • Be sure to insert the toner cartridge into
the machine until it clicks into place.
6 Close the front cover.
Note • If the front cover is not completely closed,
a message will appear and the machine will remain paused.
WARNING
Never throw a toner cartridge into an open
flame. Remaining toner in the cartridge
may catch fire and cause burn injuries or
explosion.
If you have a used toner cartridge no
longer needed, contact your local Fuji
Xerox representative for its disposal.
