Even when you are using the document feeder, the glass is related to the feature.
When using the document feeder...
Clean the narrow glass strip on the left
side of the document glass. Wipe the
glass with a soft cloth moistened with
water first, and then wipe it with a soft
dry cloth.
When using the document glass...
Clean the document glass. Wipe the glass
with a soft cloth moistened with water first,
and then wipe it with a soft dry cloth.
You can prevent the following problem situations:
□ The copy has black lines when using the document feeder.
□ The copy has black dots when using the document glass.
Looking over the glass from the
front and angles helps you to find
any dirt.
Notes on Switching ON/OFF the Power
When restarting the machine, wait for 10 seconds before switching the power on.
