Features of Control Panel
Pressing the Home button displays the Home
screen.

Power/Power Saving button
The power switches on.
Note
When “Please wait...” is displayed, the machine
is warming up. The use of machine is not avail-
able during this time.
If the power does not switch on, confirm that
the power plug is connected.
2.
NFC touch area
This is an area for you to hold up your NFC-supported
mobile devices over. To communicate interactively, the
NFC function of this machine needs to be enabled.
3.
Data indicator
This indicator blinks while data is being sent from the
machine or data is being received from the client com-
puter.
Also, this indicator lights up when documents are saved
in the machine or the fax is stored in a local folder.
4.
Status display lamp
The lamp lights up in green at an instant of operation
reception. When an error occurs, the lamp blinks in
orange.
5.
Login
The user is authenticated when the user enters the
User ID and logs in.
When the user is logged in with the administrator
rights, [Administrator] is shown in this area. While the
user is authenticated, tapping on the authentication
information display area logs out the user, and the state
becomes as unauthenticated.

Opening menu
Tap this to open the menu for change and check of the
settings of the machine.
Tap on [<] to close the menu.

Home Screen
Apps/Pins/Address Screens can be displayed.
[Apps]: You can tap on any of the application icons
and use its functions.
[Pins]: You can execute a job again using Job Direc-
tion History and the job direction history of which pin
is created with [Create Pin] by user. If you create a
pin of the job direction history, you can also directly
activate a job without opening an application.
[Address]: You can register addresses and other
information. You can activate an application from a
registered address.
After activating an application, the selected address
is set as the destination of the application.

Overview

This document is a User's Manual for the Fujifilm ApeosPro C810, C750, and C650 series, providing instructions for operation, maintenance, and safety.

Device Overview

The ApeosPro series are multifunction devices designed for copying, faxing, and scanning. The control panel features a Home button that displays the Home screen, offering access to various applications, pinned jobs, and address book functions.

Control Panel Features

  • Power/Power Saving Button (1): Used to switch the device on. A "Please wait..." message indicates the machine is warming up and unavailable. If the power does not switch on, users should confirm the power plug is connected.
  • NFC Touch Area (2): An area for holding NFC-supported mobile devices for interactive communication, provided the NFC function is enabled.
  • Data Indicator (3): Blinks when data is being sent or received, and lights up when documents are saved in the machine or faxes are stored locally.
  • Status Display Lamp (4): Lights green for operation reception and blinks orange for errors.
  • Login (5): Users authenticate by entering a User ID. Administrators are indicated by "[Administrator]". Tapping the authentication information display area logs out the user.
  • Opening Menu (6): Tapping this icon opens a menu for changing and checking machine settings. Tapping "[<]" closes the menu.
  • Home Screen (7): Displays Apps, Pins, and Address screens.
    • [Apps]: Allows users to tap application icons to use their functions.
    • [Pins]: Enables re-executing jobs from Job Direction History, especially those with a created pin. Pinned jobs can be activated directly without opening an application.
    • [Address]: For registering addresses and other information. Activating an application from a registered address sets it as the destination.

Switching the Power Off

To switch off the device:

  1. Press the Power/Power Saving button. Long pressing also switches off power.
  2. Tap on [Power Off Device].

Important: Do not switch off the power when data is being received (Data indicator lit), within 5 seconds after paper ejection, or during copying/scanning, as data may be lost.

Creating and Executing Pinned Jobs

Users can create a pin from a past Job Direction History entry to easily re-execute the job with the same settings.

  • Job direction histories and created pins are user-managed and not overwritten.
  • Pins created in Administrator mode are shared among all users.
  • Shared pins can only be changed/deleted in Administrator mode.

Creating a Pin

  1. Log in.
  2. On the Home screen, tap on [Pins].
  3. Tap on the right side of the history for which you want to create a pin, then tap [Create Pin].

Executing a Pinned Job

On the [Pins] screen, tap on the right side of the pinned job, then tap [Start Now].

Loading Paper

This section details how to load plain paper into trays 1 to 4.

Loadable Paper Specifications

  • Paper size (mm):
    • Tray 1, 2: Width: 100 to 330, Length: 148 to 488
    • Tray 3, 4: Standard size: Max A4/Letter, Min JIS B5
  • Paper weight (g/m²): 52 to 300

Loading Procedure

  1. Pull out the Paper Tray until it stops.
  2. If paper is already loaded, take it out.
  3. For JIS B4 or larger paper, pinch the knob, lift the paper rear end guide, and set the guide into the hole for the indicated size.
  4. Pinch the guide clip(s) and adjust to the correct paper size. Trays 1 and 2 have two clips, while trays 3 and 4 have one.
  5. Fan a stack of paper, face the print surface down, and load with edges aligned according to the arrow direction.
    • Important: Do not load paper above the maximum fill line to prevent jams.
    • Note: Adjust guide clips correctly to prevent feeding issues.
  6. Push in the Paper Tray.
  7. If the paper type has changed, set it on the Device screen:
    1. Tap on [Menu] > [Device] > [Paper Tray Settings].
    2. After tapping the number for the loaded Paper Tray, configure paper items and tap [OK].
  8. When printing, configure paper settings from the printer driver.

Copy/Fax/Scan

Setting the Document

Documents can be set as multiple sheets or a single sheet.

Document Feeder

Loadable paper specifications:

  • Paper size (mm): Width: 84 to 297, Length: 140 to 432 (up to 600 mm with Fax Kit)
  • Paper weight (g/m²): Single side printing: 38 to 200, Double side printing: 50 to 200

Loading Procedure:

  1. Open the Document Cover.
  2. Wipe off any dirt from the glass strip and white plastic area on the left side of the Document Glass.
  3. Close the Document Cover.
  4. Confirm the document is free of tags, tape, staples, and clips. Stretch out any wrinkled or folded documents.
  5. Align the upper left corner of the document for correct size detection.
  6. Load the document face up (front side up for 2-sided documents) in the center of the Document Feeder.
    • Important: Do not set documents above the maximum fill line to prevent jams.
  7. When the confirmation indicator lights up, move the document guide to align with both edges.
  8. Open the Document Stopper.
    • Note: The "Document Feeder Attention Light" turns on after a scan job and off after approx. 3 seconds to prevent documents from being left behind.

Document Glass

Loadable paper specifications:

  • Paper size (mm): Width: Up to 297, Length: Up to 432

Loading Procedure:

  1. Open the Document Cover, and wipe off any dirt from the Document Glass.
  2. Load the document face down, aligned with the upper left corner of the Document Glass.
  3. Close the Document Cover.

Copy Function

  1. Configure setting items as needed (Quantity, Output Color, 2 Sided, Paper Supply, Reduce/Enlarge, Pages per Side).
  2. Tap on [Start].

Fax Function

  1. Enter the recipient using the keyboard or by tapping the Address Book (3) or Redial (2).
  2. Tap on [Done] or [OK].
  3. Tap on and configure setting items as needed.
  4. Tap on [Start].

Scan (Email) Function

  • Note: [Scan to Folder], [Scan], [USB], and [Scan to Desktop] are also available. Email settings must be configured in the Device beforehand.
  1. Specify the recipient by directly entering using the keyboard or by tapping the Address Book.
    • When specifying multiple recipients, tap [Add Recipient].
    • To change recipient type (To/Cc/Bcc), tap on.
  2. Tap on [Done] or [OK].
  3. Tap on and configure setting items as needed (Preview, File Format, Color Scanning, 2 Sided Scanning, Resolution, Original Type).
  4. Tap on [Start].

General Safety Warnings

  • Unauthorized alterations, additions of new functions, or connections to external devices are not covered by the product warranty. Contact your local representative for information.
  • Follow all warning instructions on the product.
    • DANGER: Indicates high risk of death or severe injury.
    • WARNING: Indicates risk of severe or fatal injury.
    • CAUTION: Indicates risk of injury to user or damage to machine.
  • A: Symbol for items requiring attention when handling the machine.
    • Caution for electrostatic breakage, Flammable, Explodable, Electric shock, Heated surface.
    • Moving object, Pinched fingers, Rotating Parts Hazard, Sharp Edge Hazard.
  • **: A symbol for prohibited items.

Electrical Safety

  • Operate the product with the power source indicated on the product's data plate.
  • WARNING: Connect to a protective earth circuit. The product has an earthed plug; use only earthed electrical outlets. Do not use un-earthed adapter plugs.
  • Plug the power cord directly into a grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords, multi-plug adapters, or multiple connectors to prevent overheating and fire.
  • Connect to a branch circuit or outlet with larger capacity than the product's rated ampere and voltage (check data plate).
  • Never touch the power cord with wet hands to prevent electric shock.
  • Do not place objects on the power cord.
  • Keep the plug connection free of dust and dampness to prevent electric current leakage, heat, and fire.
  • Use only the power cord supplied with the product or designated by the company. Do not damage or alter the power cord to prevent electric shock or fire. Contact local representative for replacement if damaged.

Installation Safety

  • WARNING: Do not locate where people might step on or trip over the power cord to prevent electric shock or fire.
  • CAUTION:
    • Never locate near radiators, heat sources, volatile flammable materials (curtains), hot/humid/dusty/poorly ventilated environments, direct sunlight, cookers, or humidifiers.
    • Keep packing materials away from small children to prevent suffocation.
    • Locate on a level, sturdy surface that can withstand 250 kg (minimum configuration) to prevent tipping and injuries.
    • Locate in a well-ventilated area. Do not obstruct ventilation openings. Maintain minimum clearance for ventilation and access to the power plug. Unplug if abnormal conditions occur.
  • Minimum Configuration Dimensions (Unit: mm): 1759 (Width) x 1791 (Height) x 793 (Depth).
  • Do not incline the product more than 10° to prevent falling and injuries.
  • Always lock the wheels after installation to prevent falling or sliding.
  • Use supplied cable ties and spiral tubes to bundle wires and cables to prevent defects.

Operational Safety

  • WARNING:

    • Perform only maintenance procedures described in the manuals.
    • Do not remove covers or protectors that require a tool to access hazard areas to prevent electric shock and injuries.
    • Switch off and unplug immediately if smoke, unusual heat/noise/odor, cracked power cord, activated circuit breaker, liquid spills, water immersion, or damage occurs.
    • Do not insert objects into slots or openings. Do not place liquid containers, metal parts (staples, clips), or heavy objects on the product to prevent electric shock or fire.
    • Do not place liquids, particles, small metal pieces, or their containers in consumable storage spaces to prevent electric shock or short-circuit.
    • Do not place dangerous objects (fragiles, volatile/flammable chemicals, creatures) in consumable storage spaces to prevent fire.
    • Do not use conductive paper (origami, carbon, conductively-coated) to prevent short-circuit and fire during paper jams.
    • When cleaning, use only designated cleaning materials to prevent poor performance, fire, and explosion.
    • When playing media (CD-ROM, DVD), use the media-enabled device to prevent damage to speakers or ears from loud sound.
  • CAUTION:

    • Unplug to turn off power completely. Install near an outlet for easy unplugging in emergencies.
    • Always switch off and unplug when cleaning to prevent electric shock.
    • Do not unplug or re-plug with the switch on to prevent plug deformation, heat, and fire.
    • Hold the plug, not the cord, when unplugging to prevent cord damage, electric shock, or fire.
    • Switch off and unplug if not used over weekends or long holidays (fax function will not receive messages).
    • Monthly check: power cord firmly plugged, plug not heated/rusted/bent, plug/outlet free of dust, power cord not cracked/worn. If unusual conditions, switch off, unplug, and contact local representative.

Consumable Safety

  • WARNING:
    • Store all consumables according to instructions to prevent electric shock or fire.
    • Never use a vacuum cleaner for spilled toner or residual toner to prevent electric shock, fire, or explosion. Use a broom or wet cloth.
    • Never throw a toner cartridge into an open flame to prevent fire and explosion.
    • Never throw a waste toner container into an open flame.
  • CAUTION:
    • Keep drum cartridges and toner cartridges out of reach of children. If swallowed, drink water and consult a physician.
    • When replacing drum cartridges and toner cartridges, be careful not to spill the toner.
    • Avoid contact with clothes, skin, eyes, and mouth. If toner spills on skin, wash with soap and water. If toner gets in eyes, wash with water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.
    • If you inhale toner particles, move to fresh air.
