FinePix S2 Pro
The newly developed third generation of Super CCD makes possible a picture resolution of 4256 x 2848
pixels. This value corresponds to an output file of 12.1 million picture points. The design of the FinePix S2
Pro is based on the Nikon F body, which means that type D or G AF Nikkor lenses can be used, among
others. SmartMedia cards or CompactFlash type II can be chosen as the storage medium, also leaving
open the option of Microdrive with 1 gigabyte carrying capacity at present. The camera demonstrates its
flexibility when relaying the pictures to the PC: even large picture files are quickly transferred by USB
terminal or Firewire interface. This ensures high levels of efficiency for studio and outdoor photography.
Anyone who was already convinced by its redecessor, the FinePix S1 Pro, will feel unqualified
enthusiasm for the FinePix S2 Pro. The Super CCD with 6.17 million effective pixels provides the basis for
brilliant photos with true-to-life details. The newly developed third-generation sensor reaches a resolution
of 4256 x 2848 pixels.
