Updating Software
■ Cautions for use


Theproductdownloadssoftwareautomaticallyandupdates
itwhennecessary(exceptforOSupdate).

•
Chargetheproductadequatelybeforeupdatingsoftware.If
theremainingbatterylevelisloworbecominglowwhile
updateisinprogress,softwareupdatemayfail.

•
Checkthesignalreception.Inaplacewherethesignal
receptionispoor,softwareupdatemayfail.

•
Thoughthedatastoredontheproductsuchascontacts,
mails,stillimages,musicdata,etc.willnotbechanged
evenafterupdatingsoftware,theinformationyouspecified
maybeinitializeddependingonupdatedcontents.Note
thatthedatamaynotbeprotecteddependingonthe
statusofyourmobilephone(e.g.malfunction,damage,
gettingwet,etc.).Also,youarerecommendedtobackup
yourdatabeforeupdatingsoftware.


Ifsoftwareupdatehasfailedorstopped,performthesame
procedureagain.


Whenyouturnthepoweronforthefirsttimeafterupdating
software,operationsmaybeslowforseveralorseveral
tensofminutesduetoupdatingthedata.Thetimefor
updatingthedatavariesdependingontheamountofdata
ontheproduct.Donotturnthepoweroffuntiloperation
speedbecomesnormal.


Whileyouareusingtheproductoverseas,softwareupdate
maynotbeavailable.

Donotmovetheproductwhilesoftwareupdateisin
progress.

product.Inthiscase,contactRepairandDeliverySupport
Center.


Theupdatesoftwarecanbedownloadedfromthesettingsmenu
oftheproductdirectly.
