A smell from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner's indoor unit may occur because the unit has absorbed room odors from furniture, tobacco, or other sources.
Why does the air flow stop in my Fujitsu Air Conditioner?
When you start heating operation on your Fujitsu Air Conditioner, the fan may temporarily stop to allow internal parts to warm up. Also, during heating, the unit will temporarily stop (for 2-16 minutes) for automatic defrosting. 'DEFROST' will be shown on the remote controller display during this operation. The fan may also stop when the unit is monitoring the room’s temperature. If the room temperature rises above the thermostat setting during heating, both the indoor and outdoor units will stop; increase the thermostat setting to continue warming the room.
Why is my Fujitsu ART25AL emitting mist or steam?
During cooling with your Fujitsu Air Conditioner, a thin mist may be emitted from the indoor unit. This is due to the sudden cooling of room air, resulting in condensation. During heating, the outdoor unit’s fan may stop, and steam may rise from it due to automatic defrosting.
Why is there noise coming from my Fujitsu ART25AL?
During operation of your Fujitsu Air Conditioner, and immediately after stopping it, you might hear the sound of water flowing in the air conditioner’s piping. You may also particularly notice noise for about 2 to 3 minutes after starting operation which is the sound of coolant flowing. During heating, a sizzling sound may occasionally occur, which is produced by the automatic defrosting operation.
