Why is my Fujitsu Air Conditioner not cooling well?
    • W
      William YoungAug 13, 2025
Several factors can impact the cooling or heating performance of your Fujitsu Air Conditioner. Make sure that the air filter is clean and that the air conditioner's intake grille or outlet port isn't blocked. Check if the room temperature settings (thermostat) are correctly adjusted and that no windows or doors are open. If it's cooling operation, ensure bright sunlight isn't entering the room (close the curtains) and that there aren't excessive heat sources like heating apparatus or too many people in the room. Also, verify the unit isn't set for QUIET operation.

Why is my Fujitsu Air Conditioner airflow weak or stops?
    • A
      Alexa SalinasAug 17, 2025
Weak or stopped airflow in your Fujitsu Air Conditioner can occur for several reasons. When heating starts, the fan speed is temporarily low to warm up internal parts. During heating, if the room temperature exceeds the thermostat setting, the outdoor unit stops, and the indoor unit operates at a very low fan speed. The unit may also temporarily stop during heating for 7-15 minutes for Automatic Defrosting. In Dry mode, the fan operates at low speed and may stop to adjust humidity. SUPER QUIET operation also uses very low fan speed. In AUTO mode, the fan runs at a very low speed. For Multi-type units, operation in different modes can cause units to stop, indicated by a flashing OPERATION lamp.

Why doesn't my Fujitsu ASTG18LVCB Air Conditioner operate immediately?
    • K
      Keith LaneAug 21, 2025
If the indoor unit is stopped and immediately restarted, the compressor won't operate for about 3 minutes to prevent fuse blowouts. Also, when the electrical breaker is turned off and on again, the protection circuit operates for about 3 minutes, preventing operation.

      Ashley PetersenAug 29, 2025
If your Fujitsu Air Conditioner isn't operating, check if the circuit breaker has been turned off or if there has been a power failure. Also, verify if a fuse has blown out or a circuit breaker has been tripped, and ensure the timer isn't operating.

    • K
      Karen GoodmanSep 1, 2025
A smell emitted from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner's indoor unit may be due to room odors (furniture, tobacco, etc.) that have been drawn into the unit.

Why is mist or steam emitted from my Fujitsu Air Conditioner?
    • J
      jessica64Sep 5, 2025
During Cooling or Dry operation, a thin mist from the Fujitsu Air Conditioner indoor unit results from the sudden cooling of room air, causing condensation. During Heating, steam from the outdoor unit occurs during Automatic Defrosting operation, when the fan may stop.

Why is my Fujitsu ASTG18LVCB Air Conditioner making noise?
    • R
      Ryan McclainSep 9, 2025
Your Fujitsu Air Conditioner may produce noise due to water flowing in the piping during or after operation. The sound of refrigerant flowing may be noticeable for 2-3 minutes after starting. During Heating, a sizzling sound may occur occasionally due to Automatic Defrosting.
