Why is my Fujitsu ASY10FSACW not cooling well?
    • M
      megan49Aug 8, 2025
Poor cooling performance can occur due to several reasons. Check if the air filter is dirty, or if the air conditioner's intake grille or outlet port is blocked. Ensure the room temperature settings (thermostat) are correctly adjusted and that no windows or doors are open. If it is cooling operation, close the curtains if sunlight is entering the room. Also, consider if there are heating apparatus and computers inside the room, or too many people. Finally, check if the unit is set for SUPER QUIET operation.

What to do if my Fujitsu Air Conditioner doesn’t operate at all?
    • H
      Harry OconnorAug 16, 2025
If your Fujitsu Air Conditioner doesn’t operate, make sure the Power Supply Plug is connected to its outlet. Check if there has been a power failure. Also, check if a fuse has blown out, or a circuit breaker has been tripped. Verify that the main POWER Switch is set to the ON position and that the timer is not operating.

    • N
      ngutierrezAug 20, 2025
A smell emitted from the indoor unit of your Fujitsu Air Conditioner is the result of room smells (furniture, tobacco, etc.) which have been taken into the air conditioner.

Why is my Fujitsu ASY10FSACW not operating immediately?
    • S
      Stephanie WilliamsAug 26, 2025
Your Fujitsu Air Conditioner might not operate immediately because if the unit is stopped and then immediately started again, the compressor will not operate for about 3 minutes, in order to prevent fuse blowouts. Also, whenever the Power Supply Plug is disconnected and then re-connected to a power outlet, the protection circuit will operate for about 3 minutes, preventing unit operation during that period.

Why is mist or steam emitted from my Fujitsu ASY10FSACW?
    • L
      lawsonlisaAug 29, 2025
Mist or steam may be emitted from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner for these reasons: * During Cooling or Dry operation, a thin mist may be seen emitted from the indoor unit. This results from the sudden Cooling of room air by the air emitted from the air conditioner, resulting in condensation and misting. * During Heating operation, the outdoor unit’s fan may stop, and steam may be seen rising from the unit. This is due to Automatic Defrosting operation.

What are the reasons for noises from Fujitsu ASY10FSACW?
    • K
      Karen PerrySep 2, 2025
Noises from your Fujitsu Air Conditioner can be due to a few reasons: * During operation and immediately after stopping the unit, the sound of water flowing in the air conditioner’s piping may be heard. Also, noise may be particularly noticeable for about 2 to 3 minutes after starting operation (sound of coolant flowing). * During Heating operation, a sizzling sound may be heard occasional. This sound is produced by the Automatic Defrosting operation.

Why is my Fujitsu Air Conditioner airflow weak or stops?
    • Z
      zbarnettNov 11, 2025
Weak airflow or the stopping of airflow in your Fujitsu Air Conditioner can occur for several reasons: * When heating operation is started, fan speed is temporarily very low, to allow internal parts to warm up. * During heating operation, if the room temperature rises above the thermostat setting, the outdoor unit will stop, and the indoor unit will operate at very low fan speed. If you wish to warm the room further, set the thermostat for a higher setting. * During heating operation, the unit will temporarily stop operation (between 7 and 15 minutes) as the Automatic Defrosting mode operates. During Automatic Defrosting operation, the OPERATION indicator lamp will flash. * The fan may operate at very low speed during Dry operation or when the unit is monitoring the room’s temper...
