Audio Controller
If the audio controller is equipped on the mainboard, it can be switched on or off.
Enabled
All audio controllers are enabled. The system BIOS determines which system
resources ( interrupts, addresses, DMAs) are occupied.
Disabled
The onboard audio controller is disabled.
Front Panel Audio
Enables use of an A C97 front audio connector. In this setting the automatic occupancy
detection for the audio sockets is not supported.
High
definition
Foruseofahighdefinition audio cable with automatic occupancy detection.
Legacy
For use of a legacy audio cable without automatic occupancy detection .
Beep Volume
The volume of the sy
stem board beep tone can be adjusted here.
High
increases the volume of the beep.
Low
decreases the volume of the beep.
Off
switches off the
beep tone.
LAN/LAN 0 Remot
e Boot – Load operating system via LAN
enables the operating system to be loaded from a server. This function is used in pa rticular when
neither floppy disk nor h ard disk drives are installed, or these have been disabled.
Enabled LAN remote boot is activated and allows the operating system to be loaded
from a server via a local network connection.
Disabled LAN Remote Boot is deactivated.
