Why won't my Fujitsu LifeBook notebook work on battery alone?
    • K
      Kim JohnsonAug 20, 2025
If your Fujitsu LifeBook notebook will not work on battery alone, the installed batteries might be dead; replace the battery with a charged one or install a Power adapter. If no batteries are installed, install a charged battery. Also, ensure that the batteries are properly connected by re-installing them. Finally, your installed batteries may be faulty; verify the condition of the batteries using the Status Indicator panel and replace or remove any batteries that are shorted.

    • G
      Gregory AlexanderAug 28, 2025
If the built-in display is blank when you turn on your Fujitsu LifeBook notebook, something might be pushing on the Closed Cover switch; clear the Closed Cover switch. The notebook could also be set for an external monitor only; pressing [F10] while holding down the [Fn] key allows you to change your selection of where to send your display video. Each time you press the combination of keys you will step to the next choice: built-in display only, external monitor only, both built-in display and external monitor. The angle of the display and the brightness settings might also not be adequate for your lighting conditions; move the display and the brightness control until you have adequate visibility.
