Why does my Fujitsu Laptop keep turning off by itself?
    • P
      Paige HarrisAug 18, 2025
Your Fujitsu LifeBook notebook might be turning off by itself due to several reasons. The power management settings could be set to short auto timeouts. Press any key or move the mouse to restore operation, or press the Power/Suspend/Resume button. If you're running solely on battery, it may have drained completely; connect a power adapter or charged battery and press the Power/Suspend/Resume button. A failing battery can also cause this; check the battery condition using the Status Indicator Panel and replace any shorted battery.

How to fix no sound on Fujitsu Laptop?
    • R
      Rodney MartinezSep 4, 2025
If there's no sound from your Fujitsu laptop's built-in speakers, first, check the software volume control settings in your applications, operating system, and software. Ensure headphones aren't plugged in, as this disables the speakers. Also, verify that the speakers haven't been muted via the Volume icon in the system tray. If the Mute box is checked, uncheck it. If these steps don't resolve the issue, restore the BIOS setup utility to its default values within the Multimedia Device Configuration menu. Finally, check your software driver configuration by referring to your application and operating system documentation.

How to fix Fujitsu Lifebook Laptop when I cannot access my hard drive?
    • N
      Nathaniel MoralesSep 9, 2025
If you cannot access your hard drive on your Fujitsu laptop, the setup utility may be incorrectly configured for your internal (Primary Master) or optional second hard drive (Primary Slave). Revise BIOS settings to set both Primary Master and Primary Slave correctly. Additionally, verify the drive designator used by the application is correct and in use by the operating system, especially if you booted from a CD-ROM. Lastly, confirm that security settings aren't preventing access without a password.
