4. SD/MS/xD Card Slot
The Memory Stick/SD card slot allows you
to install a flash memory card for data
storage. This architecture allows you to
transfer data from a variety of different
digital devices, such as SD card, xD card
and Memory Stick.
5. USB 2.0 Port
The USB 2.0 port allows you to connect
Universal Serial Bus devices. USB 2.0
devices transfer data at up to 480Mbps and
is backward compatible with USB 1.1
devices, which transfer data at up to 12Mbps.
6. IEEE 1394 Port
You can use this port to connect to a
multimedia device with an IEEE 1394 port
such as a digital video camera.
7. DC-IN Jack
You plug in the supplied AC adapter into this
port to power your notebook and charge the
battery.

1. ExpressCard and PC Card Eject
Buttons
You press these buttons to eject the
ExpressCard module and PC card
installed in the card slots.
2. ExpressCard Slot
It allows you to connect ExpressCard
module.
There are two sizes of ExpressCard
module. One is 34mm wide (ExpressCard/
34) and the other is 54mm wide
(ExpressCard/54).
This LifeBook can support both sizes of
ExpressCard accessory.

(A3120).
3. PC Card
It allows you to install an optional PC Card.
