If the cause of the machine malfunction is not one of those listed above, send the equipment to a service
center for inspection.
Warning: Never try to repair the machine or uncover it. We are not responsible for any accident
that occurs due to improper maintenance of the equipment.
The equipment is designed for a long useful life, but this depends largely on the good handling and care
that is given to the equipment. Poor maintenance or lack of maintenance is grounds for voiding the
warranty.
CONNECTION
Furius equipment is designed to work at 1ph (Single phase 110V -L to N), NEVER CONNECT A FURIUS
EQUIPMENT TO 3ph (Three phase).
TROUBLESHOOTING
Failure
No output power
Low current output
Bad weld bead quality
Possible cause
Solution
• Defective electrode
• Inappropriate connection
• Low input voltage
Work clamp (ground) away from
the point to be welded
• No power supply.
• Inappropriate fuse or breaker.
Thermal protection in operation.
• Check connection
Wait for the thermal
protection to stop working.
Change the electrode
Check electrical connection
Check clamp location to ensure
proper connection. Clean rust or
paint.
• Place the clamp as close as
possible to where it is to be
welded.
