4.9.3 How to display expanded AIS data
The expanded AIS data display provides additional information about an AIS object,
including call sign, IMO No., etc. To display expanded AIS data, show the basic data
for a object, then left-click the AIS basic data display. The expanded data appears.
The following figure is an display example for an AIS target. The contents on the ex-
panded AIS data changes according to the AIS type. See section 4.9.5.
If data for an item is unknown, "missing" appears.
4.9.4 How to remove AIS data from the display area
Place the cursor on a desired AIS symbol and press the TARGET CANCEL key. The
select object’s data is no longer displayed in the data display area.

Navigation status is not available for Class B targets. Where the selected AIS ob-
ject is an aircraft, the [STATUS] box shows the aircraft’s altitude.
