2.15 Messages List
In addition to the message “Received new local (int’l) msg.” the following
message-related messages may appear on the display.
Message Meaning Remedy
New message received.
Oldest message deleted to
free up memory.
Appears when the oldest
message is deleted to
make space for the latest
one.
Press any key.
Same message with lower
error rate received.
Currently displayed
message will be deleted.
Appears when two
messages have the
same ID are received
and the latter’s error rate
is lower than the former.
Press any key.
Term of validity expired.
Currently displayed
message will be deleted.
Appears when 66 hours
has passed after
receiving the currently
displayed message.
Press any key.
Message not chosen for
display received; it is a int’l
00 message. Choose “All
Message”(LIST menu) to
display.
Appears when receiving
an international message
not specified for display
(00) at the SELECT
MESSAGES display.
Message not chosen for
display received; it is a
local 00 message. Choose
