FUSION MS-UD750 Marine Entertainment System with built-in UNI-Dock

The MS-UD750 is a marine entertainment system featuring a built-in UNI-Dock, designed to protect and charge compatible devices while providing audio playback.

Stereo Features:

  • Class-D Amplifier: 280 Watt output (4 x 70w).
    • Draws less current than a standard amplifier while producing higher output (4x70 vs 4x50).
    • Runs cooler than a standard amplifier.
    • 2-Ohm stereo stable, able to power 4 pairs of speakers in parallel (8 speakers from the internal amp).
    • The 4 x 70Watt output powers Zone 1 + Zone 2 directly.
    • Internal amplifier can be switched off to reduce current draw when using an external amplifier.
  • Multi-Zone Technology: A 4-zone system allowing different volume levels throughout the vessel.
    • Each zone features a L+R line out and a sub out for external amplifiers.
    • Offers volume control, sub control, and global tone/balance adjustments.
    • Zone Naming: Users can name zones (up to 10 characters/numbers) using the rotary encoder for quick identification.
    • Enable or Disable Zones: Users can increase or reduce the number of zones shown on screen, useful for smaller vessels or when not utilizing all 4 zones.
    • Linking Zones: Zone 1 and Zone 2 can be linked for quick control, useful when zones are close together or the boat size doesn't warrant separate zones.
  • FUSION-Link WIRED: NMEA 2000 or Ethernet connectivity.
    • An exclusive protocol allowing a supported Multi-Function Display (MFD) or chartplotter to control the FUSION stereo.
    • Benefits: One area for control of the entire vessel, simplified installation with standard network connectors, remote control installation simplified (tap into NMEA 2000 network anywhere), stereo can be installed out of sight with control from MFD if dash space is limited, FUSION-Link NRX200i remotes can repeat NMEA 2000 data.
    • Supported brands: B&G, Humminbird, Furuno, Garmin, Lowrance, Raymarine, Simrad, Murphy, Volvo Penta.
    • The FUSION 750 series connects to a standard NMEA 2000 network with any standard T-Connector.
    • MS-NRX200i Wired remote includes a 6M NMEA 2000 backbone cable, 1 T-Connector, 1 In-line terminator, and a female terminator. It also functions as an NMEA 2000 repeater.
    • When connecting via Ethernet to an MFD, any remotes still need to be connected with an NMEA 2000 cable.
    • NRX Power setting: Enabled when remote is powered from the stereo, Off when powered from an NMEA 2000 network.
  • FUSION-Link WIRELESS: Bluetooth remote app or Wi-Fi app (requires DHCP Ethernet router).
    • Allows Apple or Android devices to control the entertainment wirelessly via the FUSION-Link app.
    • USB, Apple, or Android album art displayed on screen.
    • Adjust Bass, Mid, and Treble.
    • Select between stereos, multi-zone control, and sources.
    • Play, Skip, or Rewind tracks.
  • MEDIA PLAYBACK: Integrated iPod/iPhone/Android/Windows user interface with F.A.S.T (Fusion Alpha Search Technology, e.g., quick search).
    • Supports Apple, Android, and Windows media devices.
    • Intuitive user interface, replicating the Apple interface.
    • Search music via Playlists, Artists, Albums, Genres, Songs, Composers, Audio Books, Podcasts.
    • Large screen display (6 lines of text) and processing power allow scrolling through thousands of songs.
    • F.A.S.T allows selecting songs based on a character or numeral, with list size settings (100, 200, 400, 800) to accommodate varying numbers of songs.
  • PANDORA: Integrated user interface via USB (iOS Only).
    • Introduces support for Pandora internet radio.
    • Integrated user interface with thumbs up/down appreciation or dislike available from the front face (MUTE button for thumbs down, BRIGHTNESS button for thumbs up).
    • The app must be open on the device when connecting the smartphone to the stereo.
    • Pandora control is initiated from the iPod source in the settings menu.
    • Once activated, a 'P' symbol is displayed on screen.
    • Allows adding new stations from the FUSION stereo, in addition to pre-set favorites.
    • Onscreen control is only available via USB on Apple devices. Pandora control is also available via Bluetooth on both Apple or Android devices, with control available from the device only.
  • BLUETOOTH STREAMING: Audio streaming from a compatible connected device.
    • In-built Bluetooth streaming for music enjoyment and app remote control.
    • To enable streaming, select "Discoverable" in the menu.
    • Once discoverable, the stereo can be selected from an iPhone (times out after 2.5 minutes).
    • After pairing, it's recommended to disable "Discoverable" to improve Bluetooth reception.
    • The stereo remembers up to 8 devices for quick connect and switching.
    • If 8 phones are stored and a new one needs to be added, use the "Remove Device" setting.

Smart PCB Design:

  • Any component that produces heat is positioned above the internal dock or inside the side-fin heat sink for optimal thermal management.
  • All amplifier components are positioned directly on the aluminium side-fin heat sink for better heat dissipation.

Reinforced Lid:

  • Features plastic fins placed between each major component, adding strength while maintaining a small form factor.
