How do I completely reset my 9Z, clearing all memories, passwords, user name,
everything?

1. Remove the transmitter Ni-cad battery pack.
2. Inside the transmitter battery cavity if you look at the bottom slightly off to the
right you will see two slots in the black case. If you look down the two holes you
will see two metal contacts (one in each hole). You will have to use a piece of
wire to short between these two contacts. Short the two contacts for 5 to 10
seconds.
3. Replace transmitter Ni-cad battery and turn transmitter on.
4. If transmitter starts beeping and continues beeping the reset was successful. Turn
transmitter off then on. If beeper does not keep beeping, the reset was not
complete and you need to go back to step #1 and try again.
5. The transmitter now recognizes the new switch positions, the proper
throttle/elevator travel distance, or simply blanked all model memories.
Note: Resetting your 9Z's memory also resets its transmitter stick calibration. There is a
very good chance you will need to send your radio to a service center to have your
transmitter stick travels recalibrated.
I see a trim change on one channel when I go from high rate to low rate. I am not
changing conditions, just going to low rate. What's wrong?
