he red LED on the charger will illuminate to indicate
charging is in progress. A green LED will illuminate
when the battery is fully charged.
Note: The battery pack can become a little warm
during the charging. This is normal.
If the battery pack fails to charge, check:
1. If there is voltage at the socket outlet.
2. That the battery and charger are properly
connected.
Unplug the charger when not in use and store it in a
suitable storage cabinet.
Avoid charging your battery in freezing conditions as
charging power will not be sufficient.
When charging more than one battery pack in
succession allow at least 30 minutes for the charger
to cool down before charging an additional battery.
Always remove the battery pack and store it safely
when the tool is not in use.

aution: If at any point during the charging process
none of the LEDs are lit, remove the battery pack from

he charger to avoid damaging the product. DO NOT
insert another battery.

AINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
Service, testing and repairs should only be carried out
by authorised service centres.
From time to time the ventilation slots on the motor
c
asing should be cleaned out. If the unit should
b
ecome defective, repair should be performed by an
a
uthorized service agent.
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts.
Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various
types of commercial solvents and may be damaged
by their use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil,
grease, etc.
Warning! Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline,
petroleum based products, penetrating oils, etc.,
come in contact with plastic parts. Chemicals can
damage, weaken or destroy plastic which may result
in serious personal injury.
STORAGE
Store your charger in a cool dry place between 10 &
25°C. It is not recommended to leave it in a cold
works van overnight. Ensure no metal filings or swarf
can fall into the vents during storage, as this may
cause serious injury when it is next used.
