The machine includes a procedure to display the tempera-
tures actually measured by the probes for each unit. This
menu can be accessed first of all by switching off the ma-
chine using the main power switch, keeping key T8 of unit
1 pressed and at the same time switching on the machine
using the main power switch.
Wait until the display becomes active while keeping the
keys pressed down:
where XXX represent the temperatures measured by the units
probes (the figures are read from left to right).
The temperatures of the third and fourth unit will be represen-
ted by the symbols “- - -” in the case of a machine with 2 units.
This system can be used to monitor the actual operation of
the probes and the exact calibration.
The machine can operate normally when this display mode
is used.
NOTE: the fluctuating trend of the readings is clearly a
normal situation
The machine must be switched off and then switched on
using the main power switch to exit this menu.

12 - ALARMS
12.1
Boiler level time out (filling)
This alarm is triggered if the boiler level loading time has
been exceeded. In fact, the filling phase is enabled whe-
never the level probe measures insufficient water (probe
uncovered), while the micro-controller activates an internal
timer that corresponds to the duration of this phase.
The machine will trigger the alarm and all the main functions
and the keyboard functions will be disabled if the filling
phase remains energised continuously for a time that exceeds
the time-out value set in the “TECHNICAL PROGRAMMING”
phase,.
The display indicates:
The alarm conditions are reset by switching the machine
Off and then On.

Time-Out Alarm
NOTE: The LEDs in the pushbutton station in the case of
Model “D” start to flash intermittently to give the user a visual
warning that the alarm phase is about to start.
12.2
Volumetric Meters Alarm (Model ‰D‰ only)
No impulses from the volumetric meter.
The correct operation of the volumetric meter is verified by
measuring the impulses transmitted by the volumetric meter
to the micro-controller after starting a coffee cycle with
volumetric control.
The LED corresponding to the dose selected (for example: the
Led corresponding to key T4) starts to flash intermittently if no
impulses are measured for a time exceeding 5 seconds.
The dose in progress is stopped automatically after 1 minute
(volumetric meter time-out) if no impulses are received.
The display shows the following:
where X is the number corresponding to the unit in operation.

FILTER ALARM (Model ‰D‰ only)
When the display indicates:
where XXXXXXXX is the suggested telephone number setting
(refer to paragraph 9.3).
When this message appears it means the value for the
number of litres which can be treated by the filter set in the
“TECHNICAL PROGRAMMING” has been exceeded.
This warning message can be reset by switching on the
machine while keeping key T3 and key T4 of group 1
pressed at the same time.
The display shows the following:
