Delivery Opons
HIAB Truck
The most common delivery opon for a swim spa is a HIAB truck. A HIAB is a large delivery
truck with a crane arm that reaches a distance to 7m from where the truck can park and no
higher than 2m. This is oen the most cost eecve delivery opon as the HIAB and will
collect, deliver and li the spa pool into posion.
It is important to note that the HIAB truck will likely need to be able to t up a driveway to
reach the spa pool posion. The truck can be up to 2.5m wide and 9m long so navigang
narrow spaces will be dicult.
Bespoke Delivery
Somemes barriers can prevent this from a HIAB truck being a praccal opon so dierent
methods of delivery can be explored, such as a helicopter or crane.
For spa pools that need to reach over a house or from a distance greater then 7m, a crane is a
great opon. Cranes come in dierent sizes and can reach 40+ meters. Typically they will not t
up a driveway and will need to a space to park on the road. Addional factors to consider would
be power lines and somemes trac control. For crane deliveries, you will need to ensure the
access-way or driveway is able to withstand the weight of the truck and load.
