What to do if Galletti Heat Pump compressor does not start?
    • O
      ovanceAug 21, 2025
If the Galletti Heat Pump compressor isn't starting, it could be due to a few reasons. The compressor might be burnt out or seized, requiring replacement. Another cause could be a deenergized compressor contactor, so check the voltage at both ends of the compressor contactor coil and confirm the coil's continuity. Also, a power circuit could be open, so locate what tripped the protection and check for short circuits in the wiring or windings of the pump, fan, compressor motors, or the transformer. The compressor may have operated in critical conditions or there is insufficient refrigerant within the circuit: check the working conditions and make sure they fall within the operating limits. If there is a refrigerant leak, refer to item G.

What to do if Galletti MPE Heat Pump compressor starts and stops repeatedly?
    • C
      catherinemitchellAug 23, 2025
If the Galletti Heat Pump's compressor starts and stops repeatedly, it could be due to a tripped minimum pressure switch, a defective compressor contactor (check and replace if necessary), a wrong set-point or differential setting (change them according to the indications given in the tables), or a lack of refrigerant (refer to item G).

What to do if Galletti Heat Pump compressor does not start because the maximum pressure switch has tripped?
    • E
      Emily WhiteAug 26, 2025
If the Galletti Heat Pump compressor doesn't start because the maximum pressure switch has tripped, it might be due to a pressure switch failure (check and replace), an excessive refrigerant charge (discharge the excess gas), a finned coil obstruction causing insufficient airflow (remove dirt from the coil and any obstacles to airflow), or a non-working fan (refer to item F).

Why Galletti MPE fans do not start?
    • J
      Jesus LyonsAug 28, 2025
The Galletti Heat Pump fans might not start due to a deenergized fan contactor, no power output from the fan speed control card, the fan’s internal thermal protection having tripped, a defective fan motor, or loose electrical connections.

What causes Galletti MPE Heat Pump to work continuously without ever stopping?
    • S
      Samuel KelleyAug 31, 2025
The Galletti Heat Pump might run continuously due to a lack of refrigerant gas, a wrong setting of the operating thermostat, thermal overload, the compressor not providing the rated heating capacity, or a clogged liquid filter.

Why Galletti Heat Pump is not defrosting?
    • P
      patricia43Sep 7, 2025
The defrosting cycle on the Galletti Heat Pump might not activate because the 4-way cycle reversing valve is defective, or the defrost thermostat has broken down or has been set incorrectly.
