Dry Cycle Mold, Apply Full Tonnage, 3-4 Times (Pinch any wires in
advance of operation)

Turn Individual Zones “Off

Turn “On” Main Disconnect

Select Zone or Zones, Press 1st Zone, Hold, Press Last Zone, Hold, Release.
All Zones Lit are Selected

Change Area – Select Temperature Set, Enter Set Point, Press Enter, All
Zones Selected will Change

Select Zone or Zones, Press 1st Zone, Hold, Press Last Zone, Hold, Release.
All Zones Lit are Selected

Change Area – Select Automatic/Manual Selection, Enter “0” for Automatic
Operation, Press Enter

Turn “On” Zone Power Switch. Apply Power to Manifolds first if required
by Manifold Supplier

Zones will read a Low Temperature Alarm, Zones are close or holding Set
Point When the Green Temperature Holding Set Point Light is Illuminated

Summary

GLC 2 K Start Up Procedure

Perform Dry Cycle and Tonnage Test

Perform dry cycle mold and full tonnage 3-4 times, ensuring no wires are pinched.

Turn Off Individual Zones

Turn off individual temperature zones before proceeding.

Activate Main Disconnect

Turn on the main disconnect to supply power.

Select Zones for Operation

Select specific zones or all zones for operation by pressing the first and last zone buttons.

Set Zone Temperature Setpoints

Set temperature for selected zones and apply to all selected zones.

Set Automatic;Manual Operation Mode

Select automatic or manual operation mode for zones, entering '0' for automatic.

Turn On Zone Power Switches

Turn on zone power switches, applying power to manifolds first if required.

Monitor Zone Status and Alarms

Monitor zone status for low temperature alarms or set point holding.

View Area and Change Area Controls

View Area Display

Displays actual zone value, degree C/F, deviation, and Amps.

Change Area Controls

Controls for temperature setpoint, manual % setpoint, and trim adjustments.

Boost and Standby Functions

Temporarily increase zone temperature or set zones to standby.

Switch between automatic (0) or manual (1) temperature control.
