Safe placement near water bodies requires a residual-current device. Keep pump away from water.
Power and extension cables must meet specific diameter and type requirements (H05 RNF).
Perform a visual check before operation for any damage to the pump or power cable.
Protect the pump from rain and avoid operating it in wet or moist environments.
Ensure a firm, solid site with adequate ventilation, and position pump at a safe distance from liquid.
Connect a vacuum-resistant suction hose airtight to the pump's suction side connector.
Connect pressure hose to delivery side connector. Use recommended fittings for optimal capacity.
Fill the pump to overflowing with liquid before each operation to prevent dry running.
Prepare for frost periods by draining the pump and storing it in a protected location.
