before carrying out maintenance work.
V Do not clean the hedge trimmer under running
water (especially high pressure).
1. Clean the hedge trimmer with a damp cloth.
2. Lubricate the trimmer blade

with a low viscosity oil (e.g.
GARDENA spray-oil Art. 2366). Avoid contact with the plastic
parts.

Hedge trimmer does not start Extension cable not plugged v Plug in the extension cable
in or is damaged. or if necessary replace it.
Hedge is not cleanly cut Blade blunt or damaged. v Have blade replaced by
GARDENA-Service.

Repairs should only be carried out by GARDENA service centres or dealers
authorised by GARDENA.
