Purpose of this document to list data required to support STC installation of the Garmin GWX 68.
Document applies to GWX 68 installation on specified aircraft IAW listed data.
Document shall be released, archived, and controlled per Garmin document control system.
Provides definitions of terminology used within this document.
Lists documents required for installation purposes, must be of listed revision or later.
Documents contain information related to STC but not required for follow-on installations.
Details required equipment with part numbers and software versions for installation.
Installation must conform to applicable FARs and data listed in Section 2.1.
STC supports interface with MX20; requires prior/concurrent MX20 installation.
Mechanical installation, wiring, routing must conform to STC data or recommended practices.
Hardware not supplied shall be standard aircraft hardware per AC 43.13-1B.
All wire used shall be of appropriate standard aircraft quality grade and size.
Modification circuits shall be protected in accordance with AC 43.13-1B.
Electrical load analysis shall be performed per AC 43.13-1B.
