      Kelly BurtonAug 3, 2025
If your Garrison Heat Pump isn't cooling or heating the room effectively, ensure that curtains, blinds, and furniture aren't blocking the unit's airflow. Try adjusting the temperature setting to be lower or higher. Also, clean the filters. Allow enough time for the unit to heat or cool the room, or start it early. Ensure the vent door is closed and check the dip switch and wall thermostat settings. Note that it may take around 3 minutes for the compressor to start.
