What to do if the burner will not light but the fan is running on my Gasmate CH100?
    • J
      James HawkinsAug 3, 2025
If the burner of your Gasmate Heater will not light but the fan is running, it could be due to several reasons. First, there might be air in the gas line, in which case you should purge the gas line. Another possibility is low gas pressure, so install a full canister or cylinder. Ensure that the gas is turned ON. Also, check if the tilt switch has been activated, and if so, place the heater on level ground where it can’t be knocked over. Finally, the ODS may have been activated; make sure the appliance is in an open area, away from strong breezes.

What to do if the burner will not stay lit on my Gasmate CH100 Heater?
    • B
      Billy JohnsonAug 9, 2025
If the burner on your Gasmate Heater will not stay lit, several factors could be responsible. A suspect thermocouple or valve may need repair or replacement. If the wind exceeds 15kph, shelter the heater from the wind. If the ODS (Oxygen Depletion Sensor) is activated, ensure the appliance is in an open area and not subject to a strong direct breeze. Also, check if the appliance fuse is blown and replace it with a 5 AMP fuse if necessary.

Why my Gasmate CH100 does not work (Green LED is not glowing)?
    • M

If your Gasmate Heater does not work and the green LED is not glowing, check the following: Ensure the flexible ducting is fully attached and locked in place by twisting it anti-clockwise. Insert a 5A fuse if there is none. Check the fuse and battery charge in case of a faulty fan. Charge the battery for 6 hours if it's flat. If the tilt switch is activated, place the heater on level ground where it can’t be knocked over, then turn it off and restart it. If the ODS is activated, ensure the heater is in an open area away from strong breezes, then turn it off and restart it. Finally, replace the fuse with a 5 AMP fuse if it's blown.

Why my Gasmate Heater unit switches off during use?
    • A
      Austin DouglasAug 21, 2025
If your Gasmate Heater unit switches off during use, it could be due to a flat battery. In this case, charge the battery. Alternatively, the temperature might have exceeded the safety cut-off device. If this happens, turn the heater off, wait 5 minutes, and then restart it.

      Susan HuffmanAug 27, 2025
If your Gasmate Heater does not work, but the green LED is glowing, there are a couple of things you can check. First, check the fuse and battery charge, as a faulty fan could be the issue. Additionally, if the igniter isn't working, push the knob in and hold it with the switch on for about 10 seconds.
