  • Burner Tube Cleaning: Recommended before first use and every six months to prevent obstructions from spiders/insects (flash-back). Methods include using a stiff wire, a narrow bottle brush, or an air hose.
  • Hose Inspection: Visually inspect the gas hose prior to each use for cracks, wear, or damage. Replace if necessary.
  • Rust & Discolouration Minimization: Regular cleaning, especially near coastlines or swimming pools, helps prevent rust on stainless steel. Cover the BBQ when not in use and store in a dry place.
  • Servicing: Appliances should be serviced at least annually by a Licensed Plumber or Authorized Person.
  • Gas Cylinder Storage: Always store gas cylinders outdoors in a well-ventilated area, out of reach of children, and not in enclosed spaces. Disconnect the cylinder if storing the barbecue indoors.
  • Transformer Maintenance: This transformer must only be used with the lights in the BBQ. Power cord must only be replaced by an authorized service facility.
