  If your GE Air Conditioner doesn't start, there could be several reasons: * Ensure the air conditioner is fully plugged into the outlet. * Check your house's fuse or circuit breaker and replace the fuse or reset the breaker if needed. * If there was a power failure, the unit should restart automatically with the settings last used. * There is a protective time delay of approximately 3 minutes to prevent tripping the compressor. Wait 3 minutes after turning it back on. * If the current interrupter device is tripped, press the RESET button on the power cord plug. If the RESET button will not stay engaged, stop using the air conditioner and contact a qualified service technician.
