Power Outage Recovery Feature
In tile case of a power outage or interruption, tile
unit will maomafically re-start in tile settings last
used after the power is restored. The TIMERteatm'e

will reset to the original setting. Ym may need to set
a new time if desired.
COOLMode
Use the COOLmode with HIGH(F3),MED(F2)or
LOW(FI) tim fi)r cooling. Use the INCREASE&/
DECREASEV pads to set the desired temperature
between 60°F and 86°F in l °F increments.
An electronic them/ostat is used to maintain tile
room temperatm'e. Tile compressor will cyde on
and off to kee I) the room at the set level of comfi)rt.
Set file thennostnt at a lower ntnnber and file indoor
air will be(_m_e coole_; Set tile them_ostat at a higher
number and tile indoor air will become wam_e_:

For Quieter & Nighttime Cooling--Select tile
COOL mode and LOW (FI)tim with a middle set
temperatm'e.

backtoa COOLsetting.
FAN Mode
Usethe FANat HIGH(F3),MED (F2)or LOW(FI)to
provide air circulation and filtering without cooling.
Since tim only settings do not provide cooling,
a temperatm'e setting will not be displayed.
Vent Control
Tile vent control is located on tile inside oI tile air
lou\'e_ on tile lower right side.
When set at CLOSE,only tile air inside tile room will
be circulated and conditioned. X,_q/en set at OPEN,
some inside air is exhausted outside.
To open tile vent, pull tile lever toward you.
To close it, push it in.
